Sulu State University proudly joins the nation in the observance of the 2026 Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May, reaffirming its commitment to transparent, efficient, and citizen-centered public service in support of the government’s anti-red tape initiatives.
The nationwide celebration, spearheaded by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), is anchored on the theme, “Achieving Results through Transparency and Accountability: Towards a More Productive Bagong Pilipinas.” The observance aims to strengthen government efficiency, streamline processes, and improve the delivery of public services across all institutions in the country.
In line with this national campaign, Sulu State University continues to enhance its institutional processes by promoting accountability, digital transformation, and responsive frontline services for students, employees, stakeholders, and the public. The university remains steadfast in upholding the principles of good governance and quality public service through simplified procedures and strengthened service delivery mechanisms.
The celebration also highlights the significance of Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, which mandates government agencies and educational institutions to reduce bureaucratic delays and improve operational efficiency.
