Sulu State University proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, University President, who was formally conferred the prestigious Award for Excellence in Educational Leadership and Supervision (Gawad Sulo ng Pamumuno) by the Association of Social Sciences for Traditions and Treasures during the awarding ceremony held on May 31, 2026, in Baguio City.

The award recognizes exemplary educational leaders who demonstrate exceptional leadership, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and inspire transformative change in the field of education. Prof. Ututalum was honored alongside other distinguished awardees from various sectors and professional fields across the country.
